Caroline Fernandes BA(Hons), LGSM

Caroline Fernandes is a freelance saxophone, flute and clarinet performer and teacher.

Caroline performs and teaches a wide range of music from Classical, Jazz, Pop and Funk in her own self-contained show.  She plays smooth jazz saxophone and flute with backing tracks at weddings, hotels and corporate events and is an established instrumental soloist and music educator.

For almost 10 years, Caroline was a professional multi-instrumentalist playing around the world on board 5-Star cruise ships. She has also taught flute, clarinet, oboe and saxophone to pupils with ages ranging from 9 to adult, and run several woodwind ensembles.

In 1993, Caroline completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Performance at Trinity College of Music, London, where she studied with Keith Puddy and Hale Hambleton. Caroline graduated from Colchester Institute in 1991 with a BA (Hons) degree in Music Performance under the instrumental tuition of Angela Fussell. She also has Teachers’ Diplomas from Guildhall School of Music & Drama in both Clarinet and Saxophone.
