Music Lessons & Events — Terms and Conditions

1. General These terms and conditions apply to all music lessons, school teaching, and workshops/playdays. By registering for lessons or events, you agree to the terms outlined below.

2. Lessons

Lesson Fees Fees are payable in advance and invoiced half-termly unless otherwise agreed.

Lesson Duration Lessons are scheduled in agreed time slots. Please ensure punctuality — lessons will end at the scheduled time even if you arrive late.

Missed Lessons Lessons missed by the student are non-refundable. Where possible, reasonable notice will be considered for rescheduling, but this is not guaranteed.

Teacher Cancellation If a lesson is cancelled by the teacher, a replacement lesson or refund will be offered.

3. Notice Period A minimum of half a term's notice is required to discontinue lessons. Fees remain payable during the notice period.

4. School Lessons For lessons taking place in schools:

• Timetables may occasionally change due to school events
• The school remains responsible for students outside lesson times
• Parents are responsible for ensuring their child attends lessons at the correct time

5. Workshops & Playdays

Booking Places must be booked in advance and are confirmed upon payment.

Cancellations Cancellations made by participants are non-refundable. If an event is cancelled by the organiser, a full refund will be provided.

Responsibility For under-18s attending workshops or playdays, a parent or guardian must provide accurate emergency and medical information.

6. Health & Safety Please inform me of any medical conditions, allergies, or additional needs that may affect participation in lessons or events.

7. Photography & Video Photos and videos may be taken during lessons and events for teaching and promotional purposes, in line with the permissions selected on your registration form.

8. Communication By registering, you agree to receive essential information relating to your lessons, such as scheduling and invoices. You may opt in separately to receive information about workshops, courses, and events.

9. Payments Payments should be made by bank transfer by the agreed deadline. Late payments may result in lessons being paused.

10. Data Protection Personal data collected during registration is held securely and used only for the purposes of delivering lessons and events, in accordance with UK GDPR. Data will not be shared with third parties without consent.

11. Changes to Terms These terms may be updated from time to time. The latest version will always be provided via the registration form or on request.
